Fabrication

Good fabrication depends more on parameters than on the slab itself. Equipment selection, cutting speeds, edge work and batch practice — follow these and you will cut rejections and waste, not the other way round.

Hardness
Mohs ≥ 6
Quartz-equivalent; standard tooling
Heat resistance
> 300 °C
Direct contact with hot pans; unaffected by residual flame
Water absorption
≤ 0.5 %
Full-body porcelain; no absorption or staining
Dimensional stability
无翘曲
No warping on long slabs or multi-cut batches

Equipment

Fabrication equipment

桥切走直线与拼角,水刀走异形与开孔,CNC 走精确孔位,角磨收边。设备选对了,废品率降一半。

Infrared bridge saw

Straight and mitre cuts
Spec
1.5–3.0 m/min · 6–20 mm · digital guide
Tip
Always water-cool to avoid edge chipping

Waterjet cutter

Curves, holes, 45° bevels
Spec
≥ 300 MPa · 0.5–1.2 m/min · flat slab feed
Tip
Best for shapes and fragile slabs; keep the feed flat

CNC / Drill

Arcs, tap holes, precision cut-outs
Spec
> 18 mm holes · 0.8–1.5 m/min · step drilling
Tip
Water cooling mandatory; never dry-drill

Angle grinder

Edge shaping and polishing
Spec
Diamond pad 50–3000#
Tip
Step between grits; wet polishing gives the deeper gloss
Parameters

Parameter quick reference

速度为常用区间,实际参数须按设备、刀具与板厚验证。

Machine Process Speed / Feed Best tip
Bridge saw Straight / mitre 1.5–3.0 m/min Drop to 0.8–1.5 m/min at the edge; water-cool throughout
Waterjet Irregular / cut-out / bevel 0.5–1.2 m/min ≥ 300 MPa; keep the feed flat and even
CNC / drill Arc / tap hole > 18 mm · 0.8–1.5 m/min Step-drill with water cooling to avoid stress cracks

Trim 2 cm off each edge first
Releases internal stress and improves yield
Support flat and soft; check flatness first
Rubber or timber beds to absorb cutting vibration
Wet-cut and wet-drill only; replace worn tooling
Dry cutting chips edges and kills blade life
Back mitred edges with fibreglass mesh
Spreads stress to prevent long counters from cracking
Test-cut new patterns before batch runs
Confirm layout and tool path before committing volume
Store on A-frames or flat, indoors and dry
Avoid long-term tilt and moisture exposure

Surface finishes

Nine finishes, one clearer way to compare them

柔光和哑光写在参数表里谁也分不清,看一眼实拍纹理立刻明白。选工艺时先看采光与清洁习惯,再定光泽度。

01

Natural Touch

Stone-like tactile texture

A mineral, tactile hand-feel for stone-inspired surfaces. Fine relief under the fingertip, no reflection.

02

Dry Granule

Layered tactile particles

Coarse layered particles with good slip resistance. Suits walls and outdoor use.

03

Carved

Patterned relief texture

A defined relief pattern. Shadows shift with the viewing angle — the strongest visual depth of any finish.

04

Brushed

Linear structured surface

Linear brushed structure with a clear direction — stretches texture visually across large installations.

05

Polished

High-gloss reflective finish

Mirror reflection. The clearest texture and most accurate colour — at the cost of showing fingerprints and light scratches.

06

Rough Matt

Pronounced mineral texture

Pronounced mineral texture in a matt finish. Tactile and rugged, with almost all sheen removed.

07

Baby-Skin

Ultra-smooth low-sheen touch

An ultra-smooth eggshell feel — very low sheen without roughness, closer to matte ceramic than stone.

08

Soft Matt

Quiet low-lustre finish

The most widely used matte today. Gentle sheen, moderate texture retention, and the hardest finish to date.

09

Anti-slip R11

Wet-area slip resistance

R11 slip rating for wet areas and outdoor use — no slipping under wet feet. A visible grain means it pairs best with a mat.

Packing & loading

Packing and container loading

包装方式按产品形态选,成品件与板材的包装逻辑完全不同。装柜按四步走,能最大化柜内空间并减少途中移位。

01

Wooden bundle

Standard bundled packing with corner guards and timber bearers. Best value for long sea freight.
02

A-frame packing

Upright frames for large slabs. Prevents warping; suits 3200 mm formats and project-scale orders.
03

Carton and pallet

For finished and fabricated pieces — countertops, basins, cabinet fronts. Far less handling damage.
01

Initial positioning

First layer set to the drawing direction, with proper spacing and alignment references.
02

Systematic loading

Loaded layer by layer against the packing list to maximise container use.
03

Secure fastening

Steel straps, timber bracing and corner guards to prevent movement in transit.
04

Final inspection

Verify piece count and packaging integrity; photograph before the doors close.
